Another really good driving hole from an elevated tee.
All the trouble is clear to see from this tee and the bunkers on the left are definitely in play even for moderate hitters due to the drive playing downhill and a slope in the fairway which kicks the ball forward.
The ideal line off the tee is on the small copse of trees on the right beyond the bunkers.
Once the drive is negotiated the decision has to be made whether to lay up short of the burn or go for the green in two. It is important when doing this to be aware of the hedge over the back which waits anything over hit.
The green itself has some very interesting undulations on it.
