Winter Charity Competiton & Robin Green Trophy

Many congratulations to the following, who despite the efforts of the "beast from the East" (as well as it seemed the North, South & West) braved the worst winter in many a year and were successful in the Charity Event in aid of Mary's Meals and the Salvation Army.

Gents 1st M Differ 196, Trophy & £50. 2nd A Differ 202, £30.

Ladies (Over 10 holes) 1st F Cameron 122, Trophy & £25. 2nd A Brawley 131, £15

To give an indication of the difference betweeen this year and last year. Last year 311 rounds were played in the event while this year there were only 57!

Also no one else completed 3 rounds and therefore hence why there is no third place prize.

Congratulations also to both David Alexander and Alan Rooney who won the Winter League for the Robin Green Trophy.
David and Alan won a tight final against Peter Hutchison & Glenn Brown.
