I have had a word with a few of the guys and to be honest we cannot think of a single negative. I must admit a few had been a bit wary about how hilly the course would be, the view from the main road looks like it is a straight climb to the red flag you can see. But it was not the case , obviously there was one wee climb but nothing too strenuous. The course was in great condition and the clubhouse facilities excellent, the toilets / showers especially. Overall we had a great day, it was fantastic value for money. My lasting memory will be the view looking down the eight from the tee. Stunning!

I was delighted to be a guest of George Ramsay this morning and may I congratulate your Greenkeeping Staff for the excellent condition of the course.

The tees were tidy, the paths were well manicured and the greens were an absolute treat to putt on.

It was very obvious that the lads were working very hard this morning in difficult wet and windy conditions.

You know that I am a member of Pollok but I have also in the last few weeks have played Killermont, Glasgow Gailes, Western Gailes, Dundonald, Old Course St. Andrews and Kingsbarns and I know a well maintained course when I see one and I certainly saw one today.

My visit to Cowglen was delightful. I can’t possibly think of anything bad to say about the course or the staff or facilities. Cowglen actually became one of my favourite courses and I’ve played golf in Florida, Spain and all over Iceland. You can be sure that when I come back to Glasgow I will contact you for tee times during my visit.

Me and my colleagues had a fantastic time playing at your course.

The pastural and scenic views were absolutely remarkable (as was the condition of the course). I must have said “it feels like we’re playing golf in a painting” no less than 3 times. Playing at Cowglen felt as close to the true spirit of golf I’ve experienced to date.
