Very sad to learn of the passing of Dr. William (Bill ) Gibson.
Bill who was 79 and who had been a member for some 62 years having joined in 1959 passed away yesterday following a brave fight with illness in recent years.
As Club Captain in 1986, Bill was instrumental in one of the the most significant chapters in the club's history when we purchased the course.
A true gentleman, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him at the club.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
