Alan Waugh defends GGU Strokeplay title.

Congratulations to Alan Waugh who retained the GGU Strokeplay Championship after his win at Ralston Golf Club today. Alan's excellent first round of 68 together with his 73 in the afternoon for a total of 141 ensured he still holds the title he won last year at Cawder Golf Club. In second place came Fraser Grant of Ralston Golf Club with a 143, Fraser might have won the title himself but wasn't able convert his birdie attempt on the final green. In third place was Gordon Sangster of Cathkin Braes Golf Club with 144. These players will all meet again in the GGU Matchplay Championship being held at Sandyhills Golf Club in a weeks time.
