Boundary Bell

Boundary Bell

The Boundary Bell was celebrating 25 years 1998-2023, but meanwhile Glasgow Golf Club were celebrating a double win in yesterday's annual meeting of the 4 top clubs in Glasgow. In an exciting finish in the Boundary Bell, Glasgow's Angus Watson chipped in for birdie at the 18th hole of his game with Scott Turnbull of Fereneze Golf Club to secure the win and ensured the Bell would return to Killermont for a third term. Meanwhile in the Wee Boundary Bell, the Juniors of Glasgow Golf Club came back from losing their first game against Williamwood Golf Club to winning the next 3.5 points to record their first win after losing out in last year's final.

Congratulations to Glasgow for the double win and commiserations to Fereneze and Williamwood.

Many thanks to everyone who took part, team managed, supported and spectated in a very success competition.

Special thanks to our hosts at Cowglen Golf Club for the excellent condition of the course and to Captain Gerry and Past Captain Norrie who were fantastic 👍

In summary - a very successful event showcasing the best golf in Glasgow, and we can't wait for next year's competition 😀😃
