Despite the awful weather today the plan is still to proceed with the renaming of the 18th hole in honour of Past Captain Stephen Machin tomorrow ( 8th October) at 10.30am.
Given the forecast of light rain and the underfoot conditions appropriate footwear and clothing are advised.
The itinerary for the event is as follows.
1. Captain's welcome.
2. Tee Sign unveiling.
3. First tee shot.
4. Photographs.
5. Tea/Coffee & Biscuits in clubhouse.
The 18th hole while be closed for a short period while events take place around the 18th tee.
