As many of us are in hibernation for the winter, I thought it would be worth sharing some of the work being carried out in January.
Michael Slack and his team have been making significant improvements to the drainage to the left hand side of the 17th hole. I certainly would not have wanted Mark’s role in this project!!
As you can see this is not insignificant work but will improve the playability down the left (fairway and rough).
This message will also help members understand the reason for closing the 17th and 18th holes for a very short time.
We are fortunate to have such a flexible greens team, who carry out tasks where other clubs may engage external contractors
